THAT Much Just for A Fish???!

See that fish in the pic on the left-hand side? Ever seen that before? Well, let me tell you what fish is that. Its an Empurau fish, one of the most sought-after freshwater fish, mainly found in most of the upper major rivers such as Rejang in Sarawak. So now, my dinner-I guess you would have guessed I had it right? Well, in fact I did. Right after work, straight went for a feast with my relatives, colleagues, my Uncle Steven (or should I call him Datuk Steven)'s friends and fellow 'Datuk's....(I actually don't really know who are the 'Datuk's) About 7 tables (I think..) full.. Fully sponsored by my uncle of course(I think la..XD) Now, the thing I wanna talk about here is the fish-well, it's nice and tasty.. Although I'm not a fan of fishes, I must admit it's really nice.. But guess what's the price? Wanna know? Well, it is THAT much!! Yes, THAT much! So how much is THAT? I'll tell you later... xp

I had my 2nd taste of alcohol this time.(First experience was gin) As one of my uncle's friend pour it out for me, I decide to take just a cup. Mind you, it's 85% water.. XD It's Martell Cordon Bleu whisky. Heard it's a good whisky-but alcohol, really not for me. Bitter I must say. Maybe once in a while drink like that will be fine. Ended up feeling really hot when I reached home-perspire a lot...

Some unfortunate incident happens tonight. Seems like some ignorant and irresponsible git(s) purposely scratched my mum's and my aunt's car along with another stranger's. Such nothing-better-to-do fools, really feel like giving them a piece of me if I ever know who they are. We suspected it was those residents living atop those shops that did it-reason being we parked at their space maybe. But then it was supposed to be a public parking area, with the yellow box mark. (Curse 'em...) Really hate people who acts boss-like, thinking themselves owning things that in reality are not theirs.

So now back to the fish... How much do you think it is? 3 chances - 200? 300? 1,000? Well, 200 is wrong, 300 is also wrong and 1,000...also wrong.. Continue guessing, folks..xp Take care for now.. Adios!

It is RM5,000+ for that fish alone. Yes! My uncle got it from Sarawak, plus air ticket and taxi fees, it is worth THAT much! Crazy, why don't just donate it to me..I can make good use of it.. XD

[NOTE : Wanna know how much is THAT much? Just highlight the few rows above. And you will see the answer before you.. =)]

To Final Fantasy Fans...

Oh yes, I love Final Fantasy! Although I'm not really proud with the fact that I have not finished any version of the FF games except for The Crisis Core in PSP. Nevertheless, I love this game - love their storyline so so so much, and love this trailer too.. XD Oh ya, anyone knows where to find the theme song in there? Kimi ga Iru Kara by Sayuri Sugawara. Been searching hard for it. But still can't find it. Arghhh! Let me know if any of you have the download link ya..;) Enjoy the video..

P.S. I found the English version too.. But I prefer the japanese one.. Sounds more original and real.. XD Check it out below..

A Dog That I am Proud Of...

Having read Charmaine's post on her dog, Rocky, I start to think back about this dog that I had for about half a year when I was 17. It's a he, a mixture of Rottweiler and Bullmastiff which I got it from my uncle Arthur few weeks after it was given birth by his dog, a Rott. It was really skinny when it was first taken to my house, a passive dog at that time. Brown fur, quite big size for a puppy (as expected from a breed known to be big dogs), brown+black tail..can't realy think much of him now. Just that I really like him.

So then, having taken him back home, the next problem for us is the name. At that time, most of our relatives were rearing dogs so we had to think of a name which is different from theirs. Such a headache in choosing the name, arghhh! So, guess what's the name? It's Patrick. Yes, you did not read wrongly. It's Patrick! And why that name? 'Cause my parents don't really call me by that name at home, (so it wouldn't be so confusing to know who they're calling..) and besides, it's the name for the red dog which people sometimes call me as. So Patrick he is...

Within a few days time, he was no longer the passive dog anymore. Started to get naughty, chew on this and that, especially SHOES! Oh man, I don't know how many shoes he chewed on, spoiled our house with his sharp teeth, really can't stop his mouth from chewing here and there.. And he was growing fast too. There were times when he had no appetite, so I followed Wei Chean's advice in mixing his dog food with raw eggs-and it worked! Within few months, he's no longer the thin dog anymore but a muscular and fit one, given that I always let him had a run around the playground early in the morning or late at night..(too bad that I do not have any pics of him with me now or I'll publish it here...)

Not really an obedient one, but at least it listens to me. There's this one time when I went out late at night to go to the comic shop bringing my dog for a walk as an excuse.(Mum will kill me if she knows back then..) Upon reaching the shop(about 10 mins walk), I tied him up to one of the metal bars outside before I went in. And this naughty dog actually managed to set himself loose and ran off. Honestly, I was dead worried for the dog and for myself! How am I gonna explain to mum that I lost the dog without revealing that I went to the comic shop?? Search, search and search and it was actually past midnight before I finally gave up and when home with the collar in my hand.

What a relief for me to find him barking at me when I reached home. Seems like he's clever enough to find his way home.. Phew~~~ Was really glad that night. The memories of that night still remain fresh in my head till now. So proud of him but alas, we still parted few months later.. As mum was busy with work; me, my sis and bro with studies, we find it hard to look after him especially when our schedule was so full of tuition classes, school outdoor activities and so on. And as Patrick was growing bigger, there wasn't much space in our porch as my mum always parked her car in and coupled with the problem that our porch wasn't wholly covered by any roof or shelter from the weather, it was really hard to keep him comfortable out there...

So he was taken off by Uncle Anson to guard a factory, I heard. I wasn't around when he was taken off but I heard from my sis that he sounded scared and unhappy. Well, hopefully he's doing well in his new job. I must say that I'm proud to have a dog like you. Although it's just a short moment that we had been together, nonetheless it was a happy one. The memories with you shall remains etched deep within me as one of the pieces that lights up my journey in life..=)

Happy Mooncake Festival Everyone!

It's the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese lunar calendar, and that means Mooncake Festival! All right, it's not really much of a cause for celebration though. I don't light up candles or play those lanterns (tanglung) anymore, something which I think can make a good laugh if I'm seen doing it alone! XD Used to do that when I'm still a kiddo last time. It was...okay la. The best part I remember will be when we light up anything other than the candles-and got scolded. Haha...

So how do I spend my day? Usual boring stuff la. Nothing unusual except that i went to help out my friend with her assignments and I went jogging. Yes, JOGging! I know, I know. I actually don't like jogging. I'm more of a speed runner, so it's a 'torture' to run long distance..(oops..) haha. Not exactly la. But my brain was like 'let's stop this torturing activity!"XD And i was half jogging and walking. Thanks to Adeline la. XD Jog so slow till I was like 'she's not here yet, can rest!' haha.. (too excited already till no energy left right?lol..) Seriously prefer speed running. Did some just now and feels real good now..

And of course, there's the mooncake. Ate a few of them. And wanna thanks everyone for their wishes. Happy mooncake festival to you guys too..=) There's one thing I wanna talk about here though. I got messages telling me to see the moon. I was like 'What's so special about the moon, huh?' I thought you can see full moon every month?? Sound like some people have not seen the moon for a long long time huh?..XD

That more or less sums up my day. Ohya, I was really really obsessed with the song 'Colors'. Really like it. So obsessed with it till I play it for the whole day today! Again! haha..But I guess I better switch channel for a bit, or else I'll get bored of this song soon. Hmmm.. Guess that's all for now, folks. Till then, take care! ^____^

Song of The Moment...

Colors by Tohoshihinki (JaeChun). Ahh.. Really really enjoy listening to this song at the moment. Kept repeating it in my playlist. (I think I've been listening only to this song all the while today!) Nice song, interesting lyric, nice melody, like the style of the song,... In short, really like this Japanese song - maybe except for the fact that I heard it's the soundtrack for 'Hello Kitty' la.(oops..XD) Well, have a look at the song lyric---->

Colors by Toshihinki (JaeChun)

Lyric in English
Right now, somewhere, someone
is in pain, all alone
Passing through a sleepless night
Until the light shines on your heart
Let’s nestle close together, so that we could sleep
Like a melody and harmony in love

For someone’s sake
we are here
Although we can only achieve small things
Even just for 1 second
We still want to stop all the tears in this world
And turn them all into smiles

Keep loving, and keep walking,
We’ve been believing that we will be able to convey these overflowing feelings
Even before we were born, we knew that we would meet
And that we would be searching for our dreams together

[RAP]
You know you're just like them other ten
A faded fight between you and I
I'd rather hope than make you sad and cry
What I just wanna say is
Keep the faith but fate never is moving us
It can't take us, it doesn't make different cases
So turn the light out, interact with a piece of dream
Sound brighter, we all want the same sound
Keep the tears, I told you how I'm your freedom
like a bird going through the sky
What are we, just a Christmas tree in the night?
The moment when we are able to compose the sparkling sound
We will be able to forget all the sorrow
Melody and harmony
You are always by our side
Giving us courage and hope

Thanks to you
Thank you forever
These glittering feelings are your gifts to me
You’ve taught me how to support each other, to watch over each other
And that I’m not lonely

The love that was piled up
is riding on the melody
I want to convey it to you
Always and forever

My music is my life
For you, for you, smile
Because our hearts will link together
My life is wonderful
Forever, forever

Starting from here

Keep loving, and keep walking
We have been believing that we will be able to
convey these overflowing feelings

Thanks to you
Thank you forever
These glittering feelings are your gifts to me

The love that was piled up
is riding on the melody
I want to convey it to you
Always and forever

lalala...lalala...lalala...
Your gifts
lalala...lalala...lalala...
Always and forever

Right now, somewhere, someone is in pain, all alone
Passing through a sleepless night
Until the light shines on your heart
Let’s nestle close together, so that we could sleep
Like a melody and harmony in love

Have you ever....

'have you ever love somebody so much it makes you cry,
have you ever needed something so bad you can't sleep at night
have you ever try to find the words they don't come out right..."

So have you ever feel that way before? This is just a part of the lyric of the song by Westlife entitled 'Have You Ever'. I am currently a bit obsessed with this song. Though not one of the latest out there, but certainly a meaningful song. Just kinda reflect my feelings and mood at the moment. So how is it like to be deeply in love with someone or something? I guess you know that better than me, don't you?

Love - an emotion or experience related to a sense of strong affection and attachment; an abstract concept where a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure to intense interpersonal attraction, usually refers to as a deep, ineffable feeling of tenderly caring for another person. An edited definition from wikipedia.(okay, that's a complicated one..) A great feeling to have - be it for someone, something, animals, our Mother Nature, etc.. So just imagine a world filled with that! That will be great! But then that's impossible right? As hate do exists along with love..(Is that true? I guess it's hard to eradicate 'hate' from human being huh?..)

All right, love..love..love.....Arghhh! Okay, I'm stuck! And what am I doing here crapping about love when all I wanna say is that I like the lyric of the song??! Such craps... Oh great! Enough crapping.. Back to study.... But I guess love is a great feeling right? (XD..) Ability to love someone plus the feeling of being loved - loving your loved ones, your friends, your pets, your environment, your belongings, etc etc... and not forgetting yourself too! And when you are deeply in love with someone, that someone will meant the whole world to you, don't they? What do you say? All right.. Seriously back to study!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME‏...

It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls, career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.

Over the phone, his mother told him, 'Mr. Belser died last night. The funeral is Wednesday..' Memories flashed through his mind like an old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.

'Jack, did you hear me?'

'Oh, sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It's been so long since I thought of him. I'm sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago,' Jack said.

'Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were doing. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over 'his side of the fence' as he put it,' Mom told him.

'I loved that old house he lived in,' Jack said.

'You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr. Belser stepped in to make sure you had a man's influence in your life,' she said.

'He's the one who taught me carpentry,' he said. 'I wouldn't be in this business if it weren't for him. He spent a lot of time teaching me things he thought were important...Mom, I'll be there for the funeral,' Jack said.

As busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his hometown. Mr. Belser's funeral was small and uneventful. He had no children of his own, and most of his relatives had passed away.

The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to see the old house next door one more time.
Standing in the doorway, Jack paused for a moment. It was like crossing over into another dimension, a leap through space and time. The house was exactly as he remembered. Every step held memories. Every picture, every piece of furniture....Jack stopped suddenly.

'What's wrong, Jack?' his Mom asked.

'The box is gone,' he said

'What box?' Mom asked.

'There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk. I must have asked him a thousand times what was inside. All he'd ever tell me was 'the thing I value most,' Jack said.

It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered it, except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser family had taken it.

'Now I'll never know what was so valuable to him,' Jack said. 'I better get some sleep. I have an early flight home, Mom.'

It had been about two weeks since Mr. Belser died. Returning home from work one day Jack discovered a note in his mailbox. 'Signature required on a package. No one at home. Please stop by the main post office within the next three days,' the note read.

Early the next day Jack retrieved the
package. The small box was old and looked like it had been mailed a hundred years ago. The handwriting was difficult to read, but the return address caught his attention. 'Mr. Harold Belser' it read.

Jack took the box out to his car and ripped open the package. There inside was the gold box and an envelope.

Jack's hands shook as he read the note inside. 'Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack Bennett. It's the thing I valued most in my life.' A small key was taped to the letter. His heart racing, as tears filling his eyes, Jack carefully unlocked the box. There inside he found a beautiful gold pocket watch.

Running his fingers slowly over the finely etched casing, he unlatched the cover.

Inside he found these words engraved:

'Jack, Thanks for your time! -Harold
Belser.'

'The thing he valued most was...my time'

Jack held the watch for a few minutes, then called his office and cleared his appointments for the next two days.

'Why?' Janet, his assistant asked.

'I need some time to spend with my son,' he said.

'Oh, by the way, Janet, thanks for your time!'

'Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away,'

Think about this. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

1.
At least 2 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.

2.
At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

3.
A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.

4.
Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

5.
You mean the world to someone.

6.
If not for you, someone may not be
living.

7.
You are special and unique.

8.
When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you trust God to do what's best, and wait on His time, sooner or later, you will get it or something better.

9.
When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good can still come from it.

10.
When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.

11.
Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

12.
A lways remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.

13
. Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know and you'll both be happy .

14.
If you have a great friend, take the
time to let them know that they are great.

To everyone who read this,
'Thanks for your time

PLJH Crapping Away...

Arghhh. 70 more days to my exams. Starting to feel the pressure-feeling like as though I'll be entering the exam hall tomorrow. In deep sh*t now. Don't think there's anything stored in my brain that's related to my study subjects. Arghhhh! 70 days... About 1,680 hours, or 100,800 minutes, or approximately 6,048,000 seconds... Ah, that feels better.. Will sounds much better in miliseconds though....

Seconds flying off, minutes running by and hours crawling away-and what am I doing here? blogging, mafia-wars~ing in facebook, chatting around, daydreaming....and the list goes on and on. Trying really really hard to store those important points into my brain cells but somehow, there's always a leakage... Ended up where I started. sigh... Gotta try harder.. Work hard, Patrick!!

And I'm broke! Treat my colleague-she's resigning by the end of this month. [All The Best in your future ya! =D] Plus with all the spending during the holidays, I can finally declared myself a bankrupt! XD haha.. Not that bad la. Luckily I don't have to resort to the emergency plan of 'bread and maggi'. But still, gotta control on my spending from now on. sigh....

And I met a really really thick-skinned person too. Okay, not exactly met. More like chatting in facebook. I really don't know how to describe this person. Too stupid and dumb to know we are talking and scolding 'this person'? Or really too thick-skinned till 'this person' can laugh back at us and reply all our 'very good and nice' comments like as though we are talking about someone else. Really swt! (=.=") Imagine someone telling you the world means nothing to him/her, that he/she don't mind dying now, and you in turn offer all kind of crazy suggestions for him/her to do that, and at the same time scolding him/her. And in the end he/she just reply you happily with a smile.. =.=" (Please stay far far away from us.. In case your disease is infectious...)...

Superb Week...

It's been a superb week altogether, with so many activities around with my friends. Was out almost everyday and each time, mum was like 'Again?'..(OK,OK.. I'm gonna be a good boy after this..XD) How I wish it's back to last Saturday again... Time really flies when you are enjoying yourself. It's Sunday and most of you guys will be busy again with your uni life +college..(will miss you guys..=D)

All right then, let's continue on the story of my week from where I left it. Let's see.. Wednesday was the party. So thursday is where I start.. Well, it's a Super Duper boring day. Was working that day. (more like working to fight my sleepiness..was really really tired..) The same for Friday, since my college classes already started. Nothing much to talk on there. Boring routines. Supposed to have a karaoke session in the morning, but cancelled..(arghhh.. i wanna sing-k!!! XD)

Saturday, went out for tennis again with Ben, Adeline and Yhong (a surprised inclusion..). This time we went in the evening. Wouldn't want another sun-burnt game. Really enjoy tennis that day 'cause my SERVE IMPROVED!!! (yesss!) Good progress there.. Hope to continue improving my game. Played till about 8pm before we decided to go back for a bath before going out for the gathering to meet Lee who just came back from Singapore at Pakhailam Kopitiam. (Good thing I offered Yhong a ride to the gathering with us or else the 'ffk queen' would have ffk! ooopps... xp)

Glad to meet up with Lee. It's been quite some time since I last saw him. (Used to see him at least once a month last sem.. Came back so often till my mum even asked me about it!) Still the same old Lee-a pair of eyes, one nose, one mouth, a pair of ears, black hair,...what else? XD People present in the gathering-me, Ben, Adeline, Yhong, Yoon Yee, Bernard, Tiong Lun, Chun Hong and Lee himself. Then Lee suggested going to 'Remember to Eat' restaurant and we are like 'We are broke, man!'. But since he was so 'generous' to say the magic sentence-'I Pay', we agreed to go in the end. (More like we talked him into it.. XP) Thanks, Lee.. And glad that you like our present for you.. =)

Another day past just like that and it's Sunday today.. *sigh* Had a 'nightmare' this morning while sleeping..(Thanks for the nightmare wish from someone la...xp) Very weird nightmare. Lucky it's not real. Wanna know what i dreamed? Hmmm... Guess what.. I forgot... xp Then in the afternoon, went out with Lee and Ben to the Curve. Shopping! But Lee's the one spending non-stop. What a carefree guy. No financial worries. Good thing we talked him into treating us the day before.. (ooppss..XD)

Was just walking around. Too broke to get anything.. XD Tiring but at least it's not present hunting la. Actually we planned to watch movie, but little 'Kok-chang' (okay, i don't know how you spell it. Sounds something like that when his dad calls him..) wanna have dinner with his pappa and mamma.. (xp...) So ended up going back at 8pm. Had Big Apple donuts before that. Good day overall.. And I saw a backpack and a cardigan that I like.. But don't know when will get it la.. (too expensive....)

Time really flies.. And it's already 9+pm here. Time to go back to university life. Some might be on their way back already by now. Others preparing themselves for it. And not forgetting some preparing for their new semester in college... I will definitely miss you guys.. It's been a fun holiday with you people around.. Let's all work hard in our studies for now.. ALL THE BEST!!!

Time to start my own engine too~~~ Vroom vrooom~~~

Thinking Outside The Box. . .

You are driving down the road in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car?

Think before you continue reading.

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.

You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus, you should save her first. Or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer. He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind, and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."

1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.

During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one:

"What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name?

I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade. "Absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say "hello."

I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.

2. - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain

One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960s. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxicab. She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached..

It read:
"Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away... God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others."

Sincerely,
Mrs. Nat King Cole.

3 - Third Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.

"How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked.
"Fifty cents," replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled is hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.

"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.

By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.

"Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied.

The little boy again counted his coins.

"I'll have the plain ice cream," he said.

The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, was one quarter, two dimes and five pennies.

You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.

4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The Obstacle in Our Path.

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway.

The peasant learned what many of us never understand! Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts...

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would
be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes I'll do it if it will save her."

As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away".

Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.

Remember!

Most importantly.................

"Work like you don't need the money, sing like no one is listening, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like you do when nobody's watching."

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that takes our breath away"

"The risk takers might not live long, but the cautious never live at all"

23rd Part 2 - Black Top Party!!

The 'Black Top Party'! Or maybe not that black thanks to the clown wearing shirt with black fringe instead of a black shirt. (ooopps..) Why black top? Well, I forgot to ask the birthday girl why she wants it that way. Held at Paparich in Metro Prima to celebrate Wai Hong's birthday and a belated Seng's birthday.(already didn't wear black la, somemore dare to come late.. XD)

As usual, I was late. Or rather we are-me, Ben, Sum and Adeline. Fetch Sum back home to get his camera battery (till now, I still can't shake off the image of Sum in my head, bringing his camera to mid valley without battery and trying to take photoes... XD), went to get cakes and some panadols for headache-ended up there at almost 9. Late by about 1 hour! Sorry bout that..At least better then Seng, 2 hours..xp

Ordered food and drinks, some chit-chatting, led by Adeline of course. Oh, did I tell you that we had about 5 'peaceful and quiet' minutes when she went to the toilet? XP One surprising thing-didn't expect the birthday gal to wear dress. It's always jeans and T. All right, maybe I haven't seen her out much, so that's why I've never seen her in it before la..(looks good though..XD) Well, then more photographs. ~Cut short story~ Finally time for birthday cake and song. Now now, what a lucky guy that Cheng Seng, 4 celebrations for him! That means 4 cakes and 4 wishes!! Greedy fella.. Hope all your wishes don't come true.. Oopps.. Typo error.. I mean come true.. =D And not forgetting yhong, the same goes for you.. ^__^

I guess normally after songs and wishes, everyone will be eating the cake. But the chocolate cake was sooo hard. Maybe coz they put in it in the fridge for us. So we ended up watching a birthday video for yhong together first.(Adeline's idea and thanks to everyone that helps with the video..^___^) That video is...ermm.. well, just 1 comment.. That guy inside is really really NOT me..XD (Must thank Ben also-didn't sleep whole night to finish it..)

Before we part, present UN-wrapping took place. Well, although its not much, we hope you guys like it.. ^__^ Well then, end of story~~~
~Happy Birthday to Wai Hong and a Be'late-late'd Birthday wish to Seng~

23rd Part 1 - Picnic!!

It's been a really really fun but tiring Raya holidays. Really enjoyable and had lots of fun with my bunch of buddies. Too bad that my break ended much earlier. (Or maybe i should say lucky its shorter, huh? My wallet is crying out loud already.. XD) So what do we have now? a Picnic! in Desa Parkcity.. and yes, it's my first ever picnic with anyone. A great one but its Soooooo HOT!!

The event was organised by Dr. Sum. A great idea but a bad planner...Oooopps... XD So many flaws in the plans.. But it'll be boring if everything just go according to plans. So don't worry, Sum.. We won't blame you for NOT confirming whether picnic~ing in desa parkcity is allowed. Neither will we blame you if we are KICKED OUT of there after bringing those foods there, right guys? XD joking...

Ben and I was put in charge of the drinks part. After some thinking, we decided to follow Adeline's suggestions on making 'tang yuen'.. (so greedy, that Adeline. want this and that.. xp) Had fun doing it with Ben and his mum. Tasty right? As expected from me and Ben la..XD

That morning, have to wake up damn early. First time for months I wake up that early. Thanks to a 'ma-fan' people.. (ooopss..) Fetch a few people to Cherish's house (last minute only do sandwiches...ended up Bernard and Yoon Yee helping.. and yet Cherish was so free walking around when I reached.. Isn't it? XD joking...)

Reach there at 8.30, an eventful ride before that. The soup for the 'tang yuen' split out to my car cushion. (Oh no.. ) We found a good spot which at that time was good as it blocks the sun from us. Just when we finish unloading all our foods and drinks container down, one of the guards came and told us picnic not allowed and I'm like 'shit! where now?' Lucky we didn't go off, as it turns out that another guard gave us the thumb-up during his next patrol. Maybe because we kept the place clean. (not sure though..)

And then on to foods and drinks.. (paling hangat - sandwiches and tang yuen...nice right? XD) then photographs, photographs and photographs--till around 11+ when it's super hot that most of us can't stand it, so we decided to leave.. Some pics--->

Happy birthday, yhong! and many thanks.....

Happy birthday to Wai Hong aka Ms Park aka Yhong aka Hong Hong...!! Really hope you enjoy all those videos and activities and present given by us. Well, not gonna elaborate much here. Will do so in a day or two. And wanna grab this opportunity to thank Heidy especially for her help in the video. Although the original plan didn't quite work out, but thanks a lot for your help...=D And thanks to all that help in the preparation - Ben, Sum, Cherish and Adeline especially.. + the rest for their part in the video.. I represent the few of us in saying many thanks to you guys.. ^___^

Tired...

21st of September, 2009 - Two hours plus of tennis, 3 hours plus of sleep, another approximately two hours of basketball game, I guess I really overwork my body. Not yet replenish my energy after the day spent at 1U,  already on to so many activities. Ended up with cramps on both legs during the basketball game. Luckily there's some ice around to cool it. Finally, my limit.. Nevertheless, I enjoyed all of them very much. Enjoyed the time with my friends...

Went to celebrate some of my friends' birthday at Paparich on Sunday, 20th of Sept, 2009. 4 person in total - Ai Woon, Cheng Seng, Lin Fang and Audrey Lew. Well, happy birthday -or rather belated birthday- to all of you September boy and gals (or rather Men and Ladies). And all the best to Ai Woon who's flying back to UK soon. (tomorrow is it?..) Met lots of friends there, some i have not seen for ages. Those present there-Khee Leong, Siu Hou, Soo Ching, Wei Soong, Wei Bing, Randy, Yeong Keong, See Toh, Thong Seng, the 4 VIP, Ben, Adeline and last but not least, me. Finally, here's some pics from the event--->
