Pondering...

What will you do if you make someone feel fed up and suffering? ):
After all, sorry is just nothing but a word...
A word probably for the powerless..............

Traffic Crawl...

Sometimes I just don't understand what the slow or bad crawl is all about...
Was it because not everyone is as efficient and effective?
Or because of the inefficiency of our traffic light system and road planning?
Or due to the inevitable incidents?
The weather?
Not to mention those busybodies?
Those ignorant fools?
And what about those policemen or policewomen?

How great can it be without all these crawls...

Hot, Hotter and Hotter...

NASA reports, by the next 10 MONTHS, EARTH gets hotter by 4'C from now. Himalayan glaciers are melting at a rapid rate. Lend your hands to fight global warming -Plant more trees. Don't waste water. Don't use or burn plastic and don't delete this message without forwarding. SAVE EARTH at any cost..
Saw this message in facebook and I'm like, 'Wow, 4'C hotter? Awesome. We could probably do well in a much hotter environment than it is now.' Already half-baked from the heat, making me sweat like no one's business, now it's just gonna be much worse. Great right? I'm sure you will agree with me. And when they say we should save Earth, I wonder how many people around the globe will actually resist themselves from switching on the air-conditioner for the sake of Earth, something I largely doubt. Well, this could possibly just end up making our Earth much worse than it already is after all...

Of Zeus, Poseidon and Hades...

Clash of the titans, the lords, the Greek deities. A remake of the 1981 film based upon the Greek myth of Perseus, the demigod and son of Zeus. I won't say the show is perfect, but I'm attracted to the setting and the history. I admitted I don't know much about their history, so it all turns out to be like a history lesson, and I love history. Though I did notice there's a slight deviation in the role of Io, who according to the myth, should be Zeus's lover instead of Perseus, who should end up with Andromeda. It's more of a battle between Zeus, Hades and Perseus, with no sight of Poseidon. Man vs God, Demigod vs God, well, I wonder just how true are this myths.

Anime

Anime (アニメ, an abbreviated pronunciation in Japanese of "animation", pronounced [anime] in Japanese, or /ˈænəˌmə/ in English) is animation originating in Japan. The world outside Japan regards anime as "Japanese animation". Anime originated about 1917.
That's from Wiki all right. I guess you guys know what that is. Some call it cartoon, or that's what most of the adults call it. Well, as some of you might know, I enjoy watching them. Some of those that I really like includes:-
  • Gundam Seed
  • Gundam Seed Destiny
  • Gundam 00
  • One Piece
  • Code Geass
  • Clannad
  • D-Grayman
That's some of those that I like. Yeah, most of them goes with the theme of war. To me, they carry lots of meaning in their show, not just any simple cartoons. In a war, you will have lots of conflicts going on, self-conflicts, cloose friends, love, country and blah blah. I know the anime just exaggerate things a lot, but still, it's just a show after all. And maybe you might want to place yourself in those kind of situations and see how you fare.

I do know lots of people don't really see what's so interesting with them. I guess different people have different likings. To me, anime brings in a world where lots of things that's impossible become possible. There are some things that I feels a real movie, and by that I mean those made with real actors, will not be able to be produced to be as good as what anime can. Just an opinion.

Well, enough with the babbling. I have no idea why I'm posting these anyway. Days have been busy these days, though they were good. Hope yours are too. =)

And here, I introduce the song 'Fields of Hope' by Rie Tanaka. Pretty old song but I hope you enjoy it. =)

Translation

Beneath a veil so cold and deep,
I watched you as you deeply sleep
The melody of prayer; on the lonely fields,
a little light shone

I watched as you dreamed
You laughed like a child
So dear, and yet so far -
That is the promise of our future

That one day, on a green morning,
One day, we will make it there
Because in this wintered sky
We still believe
Fields of Hope

On the day we were born, we were embraced
And now we search for those gentle hands again
The melody of prayer; one vanishes,
And all begins again; a powerful, painful continuation

One day, to that green morning,
We'll cross through all these nights
Because that is the place each one of us searches for

Now, within my own heart,
I want to keep you warm
So dear, and yet so far -
In the name of peace
Fields of Hope

So dear, and yet so far -
The fields of promise
Fields of Hope
Fields of Hope

Quotes..

I love quotes. To me, they are inspiring and motivating, albeit a short term one. I still remember last time when I got my school diary back in high school, I used to look through the diary to read all the quotes that are in it. (Well, that is basically the best use the diary provides, other then a few scribbles, notes with few pages torn out as I don't write in diaries. XD) Maybe not everyone think quotes are interesting, just like the other day when my lecturer went through with us some quotes, and my friend beside me said "What for la?". But just why it isn't?

This are advices and saying from famous people, people like Aristotle, Confucius, Sir Winston Churchill and so many more; said or written by people who had gone through different kinds of journey in their life, by people with lots of experience, experience that even some (or should I say most) of us might not have gone through before. Reading them kind of raise my morale, spur me on with what I'm doing, telling me to work harder for my goals, that what I'm doing now is actually just something small, as compared to those that have contribute greater, suffer greater in order to reach the success that they dream of. Just made me think that the things I'm doing now are not even anywhere near them, make me think about what I want for life, my goals and so on.

But then raising my morale is not enough, it's all about actions, ain't it? Sigh.. Pretty stressed up here, what with studies and work, plus I'm not really feeling quite well right now. Considering of taking an earlier study break. Well, let's see how things go in a day or two. If only I didn't procrastinate so much! Must admit I shouldn't have left my notes untouched for a long time, as it's always hard to start my engine especially after enjoying too much. Well, gonna sign off for now. Here's some quotes for you people! And hope you guys doing fine there..=D
It is never too late to be what you might have been.-George Eliot

If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavour to live his life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.-Henry David Thoreau

Someone who has a "why" can live with any "what" and with any "how". Learn to harness the power, energy and wisdom of adversity.-Dr.Viktor Frank
People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are they who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them.-George Bernard Shaw
PERSEVERANCE
PRESS ON. Nothing can take the place of perseverance.
TALENT will not.
Nothing is more common than unsuccessful man with talent.
GENIUS will not.
Unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
EDUCATION will not.
The world is full of educated derelicts.
PERSISTANCE and DETERMINATION alone are OMNIPOTENT.
The slogan "PRESS ON" has solved, always will solve, the problems of the Human race.-President Calvin Coolidge

Have you ever....

'have you ever love somebody so much it makes you cry,
have you ever needed something so bad you can't sleep at night
have you ever try to find the words they don't come out right..."

So have you ever feel that way before? This is just a part of the lyric of the song by Westlife entitled 'Have You Ever'. I am currently a bit obsessed with this song. Though not one of the latest out there, but certainly a meaningful song. Just kinda reflect my feelings and mood at the moment. So how is it like to be deeply in love with someone or something? I guess you know that better than me, don't you?

Love - an emotion or experience related to a sense of strong affection and attachment; an abstract concept where a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure to intense interpersonal attraction, usually refers to as a deep, ineffable feeling of tenderly caring for another person. An edited definition from wikipedia.(okay, that's a complicated one..) A great feeling to have - be it for someone, something, animals, our Mother Nature, etc.. So just imagine a world filled with that! That will be great! But then that's impossible right? As hate do exists along with love..(Is that true? I guess it's hard to eradicate 'hate' from human being huh?..)

All right, love..love..love.....Arghhh! Okay, I'm stuck! And what am I doing here crapping about love when all I wanna say is that I like the lyric of the song??! Such craps... Oh great! Enough crapping.. Back to study.... But I guess love is a great feeling right? (XD..) Ability to love someone plus the feeling of being loved - loving your loved ones, your friends, your pets, your environment, your belongings, etc etc... and not forgetting yourself too! And when you are deeply in love with someone, that someone will meant the whole world to you, don't they? What do you say? All right.. Seriously back to study!

Damn Pissed Off....

Finish my class at 5 o'clock, I rushed to ktm hoping to get on an early train back home. I was thinking of the various things I have to do when I reach Kepong while waiting. And I wait and wait till I started to get annoyed. 1720-delay + no announcement. Never mind. It's Malaysia's KTM we are talking about. So then I wait again.. 1740-another delay! And no announcement of what's wrong. At 1750, I decided to go over to the other platform hoping to get on the limited stop shuttle train. Make a new friend at that time. Wei Seng's the name. (you there?.. =D)

And the same process took place. Wait and wait and wait. This time at least I have someone to talk to. Or else I'll be cursing the bloody crappy ktm openly. 3 hours is what it takes to reach Kepong KTM!! 3 damn bloody hours I wasted waiting for that train!! Fine! As expected of our 'efficient' train service. But then, I remembered something that I read recently which made me more pissed off with this whole thing-->
So Mr. Najib is going to waste the taxpayers' money for a bloody costly F1 programme is it? What happened to his slogan of “1Malaysia. People First. Performance Now”?? Why don't someone just tell Mr. Najib to take ktm to work for a year, maybe a month perhaps and maybe he'll think twice on his decision again. Why can't he realize that there is so much more within our country that needs his attention rather than an F1 team for 2010 Season?!
“Why waste billions and make inferior cars to waste on F1 when a RM20 cow head and caning a model can get Malaysia global news coverage? F1 is foreign but those incidents are truly Malaysian!”-Malaysian Insider
Have you received a text message containing the above statement? Well, If you haven't, then you have seen it now. So now the thing is Mr. Prime Minister is saying that by creating this F1 team, our country name will be known worldwide. That it will be ‘Made-in-Malaysia, by Malaysians’ and of course, the pit-stops will be run by Malaysians'. And Dr. Mahathir was saying “With the F1 race, Malaysia is shown to the world for hours. We don’t have to pay a single sen. If we were to calculate the advertisement in Japan alone, it may run into US$100 million or US$200 million. So imagine ... more than 300 television stations telecast the F1 race. People will know more about Malaysia if we have our own F1 team.” So we should be proud as a Malaysian that we have an F1 team when countries like Singapore and Indonesia don't have, is it? And now I ask you, you think if you are a foreigner, which one will be more attractive to you, the cow of the car?

Now, Mr. Prime Minister, some of you may be happily showing off to the whole world that Malaysia has its own F1 team-which may be a good thing. But do you know that the rest of us are worried with the way you handled the country, the way you waste the people's money at a time when economy are still considered bad, the way you and your buddies handled the PKFZ scandal, the cow issues and so much more...If only you could think in a wider scope with your small brain, then we would probably have better days to look forward to. Alas, but that's not the case...

It's sad to know that Malaysians have given their votes to a party which before this WAS a party that we can relied much on BUT currently a party so full of the mentality to win and win until most of the Rakyat needs are ignored. A party so full of corruption that public accountability is a 'NO-NO'. A party which is so narrow minded that oppositions' views are never taken into account. A party so desperate to cover up the truth that websites reporting on the real deal is investigated and made inaccessible.

When is the current Government going to keep in touch with the people's needs? The KTM for example. I remembered my lecturer told me recently that in order for a country to be a 'developed country', they must have an efficient transport system. Look at Korea, China, Singapore, Japan and so on. All their train services are ways better than ours. And yet our resources are being used in something that may not be so relevant to us now. Just how much more are you people gonna waste???!

Born Lucky?!

I don't know how much posts I have read nowadays. It could be 30, 40.. or maybe 100 for all I know. (not so much la.. that would be crazy.. XD) All I know is that most of my free time had been spent on reading blogs. (or rather most of my supposed-to-be-studying time..) Why am I so engaged in blogs? Well, I'm not sure myself. Maybe it's because I wish to know about other people's experience. Their life in different part of the world sounds interesting. Listening to their stories, complaints, ramblings and blah blah blah on their life.

Lately I enjoy reading blogs of elders. Enjoy reading posts on their life, whether past or present, their family,.... Well, it'll be endless and pointless to list all. Reading their experiences in life just make me think how little 'taste' I have of this life yet. Well, being a gonna-be-21-soon kid, I guess I still have lots waiting for me.

On to the topic, I actually came across a few blogs of dads having children with down syndrom. I have not personally met any people in this kind of situation yet. So it's actually something new to me. Makes me eager to know how these people cope with it. And I found out that most are living a good life. (for those that I have read la)

And then on to the thinking (reflection) part, I realized just how lucky I was (and still am) to be born in good conditions just like any other kid. Okay, I'm not trying to say that born with diseases such as down syndrom is bad.. I mean which crazy person in this world would wish for a child or wish to be born with some sort of disabilities? (hmmm.. Maybe there are.. I guess there are always some weirdos around..)

Being born normal and able to live just like every other normal kid, I guess i really should thank God for that. Countless people around the globe might not be eating what I eat, might not be drinking what I'm drinking, might not afford to buy anything like me, might not have a home to stay in or even to do anything or enjoy life like me. Just imagine in those war-torn countries like Afghanistan and Iraq. Imagine some of those people over there, starving and not having enough to eat, struggling hard to survive. And imagine you being one of them.. Yes, i mean YOU! Imagine how long you can survive...

Living in such good environment, and yet most of us are complaining hard. (myself included.. haha) Some of us can even afford to waste. E.g. water, electricity, food, blah blah blah.. (you know better than me right? Since you waste so much...XD) And some of this 'waste' may be what those 'struggling' people wish for right at this moment. So each time you want to waste, try to think of those situations. Talking bout wasting, I myself don't  like people wasting food. Hate to see people doing that actually. Maybe it was because I was taught not to do so since young.

I guess most of us are born lucky. Aren't you? So remember when you complain about life next time, remember that there might be countless people who wishes for the life you're having. Feel grateful for all that you have and appreciate it well.. ^___^

The Thoughts of a Malaysian Kid...

Bac from college n straight 2 laptop (s usual...) n den while reading sm blog updates i came across Lim Kit Siang's blog... well, i muz admit i dun reli noe him.. jz know dat hes an influential politician in Malaysia.. n when i was reading his posts, smthing keep popping up in my mind...

I kept thinking how much more corrupted is Malaysia gonna get?Jz how much more stupid things n act r v gonna do?.. n when is the racial issues ever be solved??? with the recent happenings such as the cow-head protest n the PKFZ scandal, i jz cant imagine how vr gonna achieve our dreams (i think its 1Malaysia..lol)...

Im particularly angry on the cow-head issues.. i wonder where those racist fools keep their brains...
Interviews made by The Malaysian Insider recently revealed that several residents of Section felt their religion had been 'sidetracked' and 'betrayed' by their Muslim leaders. How so? Because the new site for the Hindu temple is just 150 meters from a surau and in a Muslim-majority housing area. The Sri Maha Mariaman Temple had to be relocated from its original site because it was also too close to another surau.-Stand Up For Malaysia blog
Our hindu communities had already shown their tolerance by relocating their temple n yet these fools still wana complain so muc... just wth u guys think ur?.. I tot this country is supposed to b multi-racial.. Den y all the fuss?? n to make it worse, those objectors carried a severed bloodied cow in their protest, an animal which is considered as sacred by the Hindu community... Now now, can somebody tell me which party is the one not showing any tolerance and care before they act??.. ok then, maybe they have a good reason for their protest.. so what is it?.. "the residents argued that the relocation of the temple directly affects Muslim sensitivities.. but when asked what these "sensitivities" were, those objectors failed to provide any clear answers"..!!WTH....

On the PKFZ issues, i guess u guys r very familiar wif it.. Corruption, a word so infamous in our dear country.. u can jz c dem everywhere... 1 example wil b during the Raya break n Chinese new year esp.. when so sudd all of us can c our 'very hardworking' traffic policemen patrolling n setting roadblocks everywhere.. n when ur caught, guess wat... dey r sooo damn helpful, rite? well, no comment... since Malaysian r generally kind n helpful ppl....

N theres another thing dat has been on my mind for a very long time... before dat, if ur offended by anything dat i've written thus far, pls jz dun hesitate 2 get out of here.. well, continue on.. the 'bumiputera' concept... From my understanding, this's suppose 2 mean in general malays..(mayb include sm others but im nt sure) so now my Q is R V NOT MALAYSIAN?? den y wif the bumiputera n non-bumiputera thingy.. this term mayb right before but den v s the next generation r born in Malaysia.. v contribute muc to our country n yet those 'bumiputera's get benefits dat v dont! y not jz call us all MALAYSIAN? is dat hard? after all , vr reli malaysians...

N on the education issues.. the issue on Science & Maths to be taught in BM... well, wat now? U fellas wana b competitive , wana b s gd s those ppl outside Malaysia n yet ur education system is doing the opposite.. jz bcoz SOME ppl cant cope wif it in english.. i cant help but wonder wat's our 'great' leaders r doing in the Cabinet... sm1 reli shud wake them up from their sleep...

Well, i think all these problems stem from the Malays.. (not all though.. sorry bout this) some of the Malays, mind you, jz SOME (but a large no. of dem) r jz too narrow minded... Cant dey think out of the box? when can dey let go the past? dun they understand that vr already in 2009 n not in the 1957 era... dat its time to b united s MALAYSIAN rather den by race or bumiputera or non....

Surely there will come a time when we are no longer categorized by race but rather as Malaysian or non-Malaysians, a day when corruption exists at the minimum level (best if none, but impossible for that to happen..), a day when every single Malaysian can live in harmony with each other regardless of their differences.. but i seriously wonder when dat'll reli materialise... lets juz hope dat it wont b long... phew~~~ so many issues in our country.. too long 2b listed... haihzz.. take note this article is badly written.. so just bear wif it ya... jz a piece of thought from a Malaysian kid.... ^____^
