Feels like I'm rotting slowly here. Working for only 3 days, and yet most of the time I'm free. Imagine working for 5 days! Oh man, I'll dread the time for working hours to end like hell! It's gonna promote laziness within me! And feels like there's nothing much to learn from here anymore. Things feels repetitive and boring. Maybe it's time to move on. But it'll be a big change of environment. Should I try it? Hmm...

The Piece of Blue Sky....
A look at the clear blue sky,
comes a vague memory of a young boy's talk,
"I want to touch the sky someday."
And a vague memory of a reply,
"Then you have to work hard for it, boy."
With thoughts of astronauts and spaceships filling up his mind,
this boy moves on with his childhood life,
unknown of the hardships and toughness of the real world outside,
living a happy & ordinary life, a carefree life...
As time flows by,
as this boy becomes more mature with every passing reality,
as countless thoughts passed his mind interchangeably,
he came to realize,
that all he wants is to just to find his own piece of blue sky.
A blue sky, ever-changing on the outset, but never deep inside.
A place that he wished for,
a place where he believes he belongs to...
And with that thought,
he embark on his journey of life,
in search of that piece...

Why........
Why is it that people gives a bad impression when they know nothing?
Why is it that a bad incident leads to another one, forming a bigger and longer chain?
Why is it that when things seems to be alright, then one bad thing ruin it all?
When is it considered to be alright? What is considered to be ruined?
Did I do things wrong? Or is it right? What is right and wrong in the first place?
Reality is cruel...
But life goes on. Regardless of how I feels or think, this is life after all.
When life gets tough, the tough gets going...
As black clouds and thunderstorm appears in my world, I know...
My world is changing itself again. Caught in between the flow of life, as a steep mountain looms in between our world, I wonder, which path it will leads to...
Wishing that things will turn back to normal, to how it was, that we would meet at the end of the mountain...
BUT...
Only time can tell.....

The Story begins...
Life, particularly college life had been dull before I knew you. It's always routine day in and day out. If not study, it'll be work. Occasionally there will be a few events, meet and so on with friends but that's pretty much it. With sports being the major interest, that sums up most of how it was.
Not knowing what I really want, not particularly knowing why I'm doing it, just going with the flow of how things are done more like. I strive hard, maybe not hard enough for the unpredictable future, of which you can say it's for myself, so that I will live a better life probably, well, just what most others will say.
And then you came into the picture...
I start changing. I dream of dreams with you. Of how I want to love you with all I have, to give you all that I can, to never hurt you, of dreams that I want them to come true to what extent they can, God willing.
And then,
...
*cut short story* (XD..)
Well, the doubts you have-with time, I shall cover it completely. I shall love you with all I have, to treat you the best I can, to never disappoint you, and the list is never exhaustive...
Let's work hard together down this road that we choose...=)
I Love You Very Very Much, Chin Evelyn! XD

Life Quotes...
Found some interesting quotes and I thought I wanna share it here... =)
“Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.”
~James Dean quotes (American motion picture actor, symbol of rebellion, 1931-1955)
“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”
~Maria Robinson quotes
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
~Howard Thurman quotes (American Theologian, Clergyman and Activist. 1900-1981)
“To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.”
“Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, that is way great spiritual giants are produced.”
~Swami Vivekananda quotes (Indian Spiritual leader of the Hindu religion (Vedanta). Disciple of the famous 19th century mystic-saint Sri Ramakrishna of Calcutta. Founder of the Ramakrishna Order of Monks. 1863-1902)

Shred of Thoughts...
Life pretty much settles down to how it was before CNY-classes, work, studies, etc. Taking 4 subjects certainly ain't gonna be easy, though with lesser classes to attend, I actually feel better. And failing certainly got me to start studying, that somehow I manage to get myself to sit still at my study table and actually concentrate, which is like the first in dunno-how-many-months-time.
And with the CNY gone, time seems to be flowing pretty fast lately, well, to me. Somehow June doesn't seems to be very far away. It's already approaching the end of February, and I felt like I haven't got much up my sleeves yet.
Sigh...
I guess it's just one of the challenges I have to go through for now. Nothing comes easy and free, just gotta work hard for it, to achieve what I aim for!
Well,
It's another public holiday today, and with class postponed, I'm facing a free day, with no work as I decided to stick to my 2-days-a-week policy for now to concentrate on studies. So I guess it's another study day again, probably with a basketball session providing the weather does not give in. Though I should probably keep in mind of my ankle, which was sprained a fortnight ago and further aggravated by my recklessness. Getting better though but still facing a slight pain in making sharp turning movements.
And it's getting late. I guess I better turn in now. Well, adios for now! =D

Banana Test
There is a very, very tall coconut tree and there are 4 animals,
a Lion , a Chimpanzee , a Giraffe , and a Squirrel , who pass by.
They decide to compete to see who is the fastest to get a banana off the tree.
Who do you guess will win? Your answer will reflect your personality.
So think carefully - Try and answer within 30 seconds
Got your answer?
Now scroll down to see the analysis.

The Turning Point...
The result is out-I failed 2 out of 3. Well, I've expected this, considering how lazy I am when it comes to doing questions, so there, I passed my theory paper, but failed the calculation one-lack of practice.
I just have to try harder, must try to eliminate this laziness in me. Just gotta do it, or history will repeat.
Well, I just feel like making a pledge here, more to myself, that this will be the last paper(s) that I will fail again. Just to get myself into business, to get serious, to stop what should be stopped, and get things right-my attitude. No more. This shall be it-the turning point. Maybe it's a good thing that I failed, just so that I take them more seriously from now on. Go go go!!!

RAWRRR!!!
Come February 14th, it'll be The Year of the Tiger, and not to mention that this year's Valentine somehow clashed with Chinese New Year. Well, time for 'angpau' (extra pocket money-come come...xD), foods, visits, etc. I wonder what this new year (according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar) has in store for me...
One week of a holiday, and this may well be my last holiday for this sem, it'll be busy from there onwards. Though for some reasons, I'm looking forward to it. (XD) And I guess this blog may be left untouched for quite some time again (sorry about that..) due to the amount of assignments that I've left piling up again. (It's increasing in a scary speed, oh my..)
By the way, I was checking for blog updates (after quite some time of absence...) and I saw this headline titled 'Be A Tiger, But Don't Be THAT Tiger'... Wow, that's quite a good headline, don't you agree? You see, before this incident related to Tiger Woods took place, I was quite a fan of him (though not much since I don't really enjoy golf), but then, of all the men, I was wondering why him? (The same goes for John Terry) Hmmm.. Well who cares, it's the life he chose. And like that post said, just make sure you DON'T be..
Well, I have nothing particularly in my mind that I wanna blurt out in this post, so I think I'll end this wishing everyone out there a Happy Chinese New Year and a happy Valentine! =)

The Elusive Factors...
Why do I do this?
Why do I do that?
What do I live for?
Why am I working so hard for?
Because that's what we should do?
Because everyone's doing the same thing?
Or because it is the right thing to do?
Even if everything will eventually ends into nothingness..
So why?
What's all this for?
Well, that's a good question.
I wonder...
What all this really means...
What's the meaning of me in this world...
Why am doing this and that...
And I wonder...
What do I seek from all that I'm doing...
What's the objective?
And where can i find the motivation to strive me on...
Where indeed...
Once I heard of how a man, embarked on a failed mission to the moon before Neil Armstrong, left hovering few miles above the moon. Of how this man, who actually had the chance to see the Earth with his own eyes from a distance in the universe, of how small the Earth looks to him at that position, of which a thumb is sufficient to cover the whole Earth. It was of then that this man, now a grandpa, told the world in his biography that of how his view and his perspective of life changed, of the way he look at things ever again back on Earth.
Sounds so stupid and yet its true...
Sounds so easy and yet so hard...
I wonder when I will find the elusive things...
And I hope to find it fast...

Anime
Anime (アニメ, an abbreviated pronunciation in Japanese of "animation", pronounced [anime] in Japanese, or /ˈænəˌmə/ in English) is animation originating in Japan. The world outside Japan regards anime as "Japanese animation". Anime originated about 1917.That's from Wiki all right. I guess you guys know what that is. Some call it cartoon, or that's what most of the adults call it. Well, as some of you might know, I enjoy watching them. Some of those that I really like includes:-
- Gundam Seed
- Gundam Seed Destiny
- Gundam 00
- One Piece
- Code Geass
- Clannad
- D-Grayman
That's some of those that I like. Yeah, most of them goes with the theme of war. To me, they carry lots of meaning in their show, not just any simple cartoons. In a war, you will have lots of conflicts going on, self-conflicts, cloose friends, love, country and blah blah. I know the anime just exaggerate things a lot, but still, it's just a show after all. And maybe you might want to place yourself in those kind of situations and see how you fare.
I do know lots of people don't really see what's so interesting with them. I guess different people have different likings. To me, anime brings in a world where lots of things that's impossible become possible. There are some things that I feels a real movie, and by that I mean those made with real actors, will not be able to be produced to be as good as what anime can. Just an opinion.
Well, enough with the babbling. I have no idea why I'm posting these anyway. Days have been busy these days, though they were good. Hope yours are too. =)
And here, I introduce the song 'Fields of Hope' by Rie Tanaka. Pretty old song but I hope you enjoy it. =)

Translation
Beneath a veil so cold and deep,
I watched you as you deeply sleep
The melody of prayer; on the lonely fields,
a little light shone
I watched as you dreamed
You laughed like a child
So dear, and yet so far -
That is the promise of our future
That one day, on a green morning,
One day, we will make it there
Because in this wintered sky
We still believe
Fields of Hope
On the day we were born, we were embraced
And now we search for those gentle hands again
The melody of prayer; one vanishes,
And all begins again; a powerful, painful continuation
One day, to that green morning,
We'll cross through all these nights
Because that is the place each one of us searches for
Now, within my own heart,
I want to keep you warm
So dear, and yet so far -
In the name of peace
Fields of Hope
So dear, and yet so far -
The fields of promise
Fields of Hope
Fields of Hope
I watched you as you deeply sleep
The melody of prayer; on the lonely fields,
a little light shone
I watched as you dreamed
You laughed like a child

The Chain Continues...
I remembered it was back in late September when I start following his blog. It was recommended by Kim Ayres in his post 'A blogger recommends...'.
And I remembered clearly back then that I chose to follow these two blogs-Mary Witzl of ResidentAlien and Sang Lee’s Yellow Son. Both are good writers, both write wonderful posts, and ever since that day, I know I've not missed any posts that they wrote ever since. A big thanks to Kim for the recommendation-they are really one of those fantastic blogs that I've read!
I guess that you have known, or might not know that I'm just fresh from receiving two sad news, the first being a serious stroke, the second-death from heart attack [Wei Soong's dad]... Here I was, thinking that the chain of sad news has ended, that it'll be some time more before I get to hear them again.
It was a stupid thought really.
And who would have thought that on this very day I get to know that Sang Lee, the owner of Yellow Son blog had passed away few days before this. I was shocked, unable to believe what I read with my eyes, but as I go on, the truth sink in-that I'll never ever again get to read his writings...
Never ever again...
No words can describe my feelings now. True, I have undergo this before. But when my dad passed away, I was just seven. All I remembered was me happily burning away those 'I-have-no-idea-what-you-called-those-papers' or 'offerings'. Even when my friend passed away back in standard 6 and form 5, there's no such feeling!
Never before...
But having followed him for just a few months, reading his posts, his wonderful stories of his past and his present, just made me feel like as I though I knew him well, although we have never met before.
It may be just me having this kind of feeling, well, I don't know, but it is certainly my first time.
It may be just me having this kind of feeling, well, I don't know, but it is certainly my first time.
Just as Kim said, the world do seems to be a little less colorful now...
To think that he's gone...
To think that I will not be able to read his stories anymore...
...
It's just so unexpected, to think that I just wrote that 'people come, people go' in my last post. And barely 24 hours after, I got this news. Damn! But that's life after all. It's full of the unexpected. Always are...
To Sang Lee,
Although we barely knew (the existence) of each other,
I just want you to know that,
Even if you're gone, you shall be remembered by us always.
Your memory and your words will live on.
Goodbye, my friend...

Messing Around With Blogger Template...
There you go, I changed my template. And what a sweat that is!
Really troublesome.
I searched for it from a website that I have forgotten the name of, I copied and pasted and then re-pasted most of my sidebar html code, arranged them properly, changed some of the fonts and colors,
and in the end,
I actually think I should have chosen a template with light colors, damn! I should have thought of that earlier. Sigh..
It's too late to change then. I thought it's really not worth the trouble and time of getting through all those processes again, and so here you see the final piece of it. I know it's not great but hope it looks good to you.
As you guys can see, my week had been pleasant, but not so much for a number of my friends. I received two bad news recently.
First, my friend's dad is seriously ill with stroke. Well, I hope he will get well soon. Let's hope for the best!
Secondly, another friend's dad passed away due to a heart attack. It seems like what is supposed to be a holiday (as I heard his dad is out on holiday when that happened.) turned into a sad tragedy. My condolences to him and his family.
Life is certainly short. I wonder when next will such news come again. People come, people go. The people you see today might not be here tomorrow. It might even be your loved ones, the people you're close with, etc. It's cruel, but that's reality. Let's just cherish the moment we have with them well...

There Goes My holidays...
New Year had just ended. So how's your New Year, guys? Fun? I guess it is. Nothing great for my New Year, but not a bad one. Went to Desa Parkcity to watch the fireworks display. Man, it was damn crowded there. And worse thing is after the fireworks ended, as you guys know, there's nothing to do there. So I ended up joining some friends for 'late-night' or rather an early morning 'yum-cha' session in SS2 Murni.
And then the day after, we had a small ex-5E meet for a movie-Cirque du Freak and mamak session at Spicy. Roughly 6 to 7 person made it. Quite some time since I met with them, seems like everyone doing great! And the final day of my holidays, well, nothing great-just a birthday party sums it all.
With that, my holidays end, signaling the beginning of a new semester. 2010 should be my final year, or hopefully it is. It's finally the professional papers-meaning I really should get serious now. I've been doing my best not to be enjoying too much this holidays-hoping that I can focus better in my studies.
Well, I'm not gonna write much here. Doesn't seem to have much mood to blog. Well, hope you guys have a good year ahead! (and the same to me! XD)
