Arghhh. 70 more days to my exams. Starting to feel the pressure-feeling like as though I'll be entering the exam hall tomorrow. In deep sh*t now. Don't think there's anything stored in my brain that's related to my study subjects. Arghhhh! 70 days... About 1,680 hours, or 100,800 minutes, or approximately 6,048,000 seconds... Ah, that feels better.. Will sounds much better in miliseconds though....
Seconds flying off, minutes running by and hours crawling away-and what am I doing here? blogging, mafia-wars~ing in facebook, chatting around, daydreaming....and the list goes on and on. Trying really really hard to store those important points into my brain cells but somehow, there's always a leakage... Ended up where I started. sigh... Gotta try harder.. Work hard, Patrick!!
And I'm broke! Treat my colleague-she's resigning by the end of this month. [All The Best in your future ya! =D] Plus with all the spending during the holidays, I can finally declared myself a bankrupt! XD haha.. Not that bad la. Luckily I don't have to resort to the emergency plan of 'bread and maggi'. But still, gotta control on my spending from now on. sigh....
And I met a really really thick-skinned person too. Okay, not exactly met. More like chatting in facebook. I really don't know how to describe this person. Too stupid and dumb to know we are talking and scolding 'this person'? Or really too thick-skinned till 'this person' can laugh back at us and reply all our 'very good and nice' comments like as though we are talking about someone else. Really swt! (=.=") Imagine someone telling you the world means nothing to him/her, that he/she don't mind dying now, and you in turn offer all kind of crazy suggestions for him/her to do that, and at the same time scolding him/her. And in the end he/she just reply you happily with a smile.. =.=" (Please stay far far away from us.. In case your disease is infectious...)...

Superb Week...
It's been a superb week altogether, with so many activities around with my friends. Was out almost everyday and each time, mum was like 'Again?'..(OK,OK.. I'm gonna be a good boy after this..XD) How I wish it's back to last Saturday again... Time really flies when you are enjoying yourself. It's Sunday and most of you guys will be busy again with your uni life +college..(will miss you guys..=D)
All right then, let's continue on the story of my week from where I left it. Let's see.. Wednesday was the party. So thursday is where I start.. Well, it's a Super Duper boring day. Was working that day. (more like working to fight my sleepiness..was really really tired..) The same for Friday, since my college classes already started. Nothing much to talk on there. Boring routines. Supposed to have a karaoke session in the morning, but cancelled..(arghhh.. i wanna sing-k!!! XD)
Saturday, went out for tennis again with Ben, Adeline and Yhong (a surprised inclusion..). This time we went in the evening. Wouldn't want another sun-burnt game. Really enjoy tennis that day 'cause my SERVE IMPROVED!!! (yesss!) Good progress there.. Hope to continue improving my game. Played till about 8pm before we decided to go back for a bath before going out for the gathering to meet Lee who just came back from Singapore at Pakhailam Kopitiam. (Good thing I offered Yhong a ride to the gathering with us or else the 'ffk queen' would have ffk! ooopps... xp)
Glad to meet up with Lee. It's been quite some time since I last saw him. (Used to see him at least once a month last sem.. Came back so often till my mum even asked me about it!) Still the same old Lee-a pair of eyes, one nose, one mouth, a pair of ears, black hair,...what else? XD People present in the gathering-me, Ben, Adeline, Yhong, Yoon Yee, Bernard, Tiong Lun, Chun Hong and Lee himself. Then Lee suggested going to 'Remember to Eat' restaurant and we are like 'We are broke, man!'. But since he was so 'generous' to say the magic sentence-'I Pay', we agreed to go in the end. (More like we talked him into it.. XP) Thanks, Lee.. And glad that you like our present for you.. =)
Another day past just like that and it's Sunday today.. *sigh* Had a 'nightmare' this morning while sleeping..(Thanks for the nightmare wish from someone la...xp) Very weird nightmare. Lucky it's not real. Wanna know what i dreamed? Hmmm... Guess what.. I forgot... xp Then in the afternoon, went out with Lee and Ben to the Curve. Shopping! But Lee's the one spending non-stop. What a carefree guy. No financial worries. Good thing we talked him into treating us the day before.. (ooppss..XD)
Was just walking around. Too broke to get anything.. XD Tiring but at least it's not present hunting la. Actually we planned to watch movie, but little 'Kok-chang' (okay, i don't know how you spell it. Sounds something like that when his dad calls him..) wanna have dinner with his pappa and mamma.. (xp...) So ended up going back at 8pm. Had Big Apple donuts before that. Good day overall.. And I saw a backpack and a cardigan that I like.. But don't know when will get it la.. (too expensive....)
Time really flies.. And it's already 9+pm here. Time to go back to university life. Some might be on their way back already by now. Others preparing themselves for it. And not forgetting some preparing for their new semester in college... I will definitely miss you guys.. It's been a fun holiday with you people around.. Let's all work hard in our studies for now.. ALL THE BEST!!!
Time to start my own engine too~~~ Vroom vrooom~~~

Thinking Outside The Box. . .
You are driving down the road in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the bus:
1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.
Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car?
Think before you continue reading.
This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.
You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus, you should save her first. Or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.
The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer. He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind, and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."
1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.
During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one:
"What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name?
I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade. "Absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say "hello."
I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.
2. - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain
One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960s. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxicab. She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached..

It read:
"Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away... God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others."
Sincerely,
Mrs. Nat King Cole.
3 - Third Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve.
In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.

"Fifty cents," replied the waitress.
"Fifty cents," replied the waitress.
The little boy pulled is hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.
"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.
By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.
"Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied.
The little boy again counted his coins.
"I'll have the plain ice cream," he said.
The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, was one quarter, two dimes and five pennies.
You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.
4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The Obstacle in Our Path.

4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The Obstacle in Our Path.
In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.
Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway.
The peasant learned what many of us never understand! Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.
5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts...
Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would
be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes I'll do it if it will save her."

As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away".
Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.

23rd Part 2 - Black Top Party!!
The 'Black Top Party'! Or maybe not that black thanks to the clown wearing shirt with black fringe instead of a black shirt. (ooopps..) Why black top? Well, I forgot to ask the birthday girl why she wants it that way. Held at Paparich in Metro Prima to celebrate Wai Hong's birthday and a belated Seng's birthday.(already didn't wear black la, somemore dare to come late.. XD)
As usual, I was late. Or rather we are-me, Ben, Sum and Adeline. Fetch Sum back home to get his camera battery (till now, I still can't shake off the image of Sum in my head, bringing his camera to mid valley without battery and trying to take photoes... XD), went to get cakes and some panadols for headache-ended up there at almost 9. Late by about 1 hour! Sorry bout that..At least better then Seng, 2 hours..xp
Ordered food and drinks, some chit-chatting, led by Adeline of course. Oh, did I tell you that we had about 5 'peaceful and quiet' minutes when she went to the toilet? XP One surprising thing-didn't expect the birthday gal to wear dress. It's always jeans and T. All right, maybe I haven't seen her out much, so that's why I've never seen her in it before la..(looks good though..XD) Well, then more photographs. ~Cut short story~ Finally time for birthday cake and song. Now now, what a lucky guy that Cheng Seng, 4 celebrations for him! That means 4 cakes and 4 wishes!! Greedy fella.. Hope all your wishes don't come true.. Oopps.. Typo error.. I mean come true.. =D And not forgetting yhong, the same goes for you.. ^__^
I guess normally after songs and wishes, everyone will be eating the cake. But the chocolate cake was sooo hard. Maybe coz they put in it in the fridge for us. So we ended up watching a birthday video for yhong together first.(Adeline's idea and thanks to everyone that helps with the video..^___^) That video is...ermm.. well, just 1 comment.. That guy inside is really really NOT me..XD (Must thank Ben also-didn't sleep whole night to finish it..)
Before we part, present UN-wrapping took place. Well, although its not much, we hope you guys like it.. ^__^ Well then, end of story~~~
~Happy Birthday to Wai Hong and a Be'late-late'd Birthday wish to Seng~

23rd Part 1 - Picnic!!
It's been a really really fun but tiring Raya holidays. Really enjoyable and had lots of fun with my bunch of buddies. Too bad that my break ended much earlier. (Or maybe i should say lucky its shorter, huh? My wallet is crying out loud already.. XD) So what do we have now? a Picnic! in Desa Parkcity.. and yes, it's my first ever picnic with anyone. A great one but its Soooooo HOT!!
The event was organised by Dr. Sum. A great idea but a bad planner...Oooopps... XD So many flaws in the plans.. But it'll be boring if everything just go according to plans. So don't worry, Sum.. We won't blame you for NOT confirming whether picnic~ing in desa parkcity is allowed. Neither will we blame you if we are KICKED OUT of there after bringing those foods there, right guys? XD joking...
Ben and I was put in charge of the drinks part. After some thinking, we decided to follow Adeline's suggestions on making 'tang yuen'.. (so greedy, that Adeline. want this and that.. xp) Had fun doing it with Ben and his mum. Tasty right? As expected from me and Ben la..XD
That morning, have to wake up damn early. First time for months I wake up that early. Thanks to a 'ma-fan' people.. (ooopss..) Fetch a few people to Cherish's house (last minute only do sandwiches...ended up Bernard and Yoon Yee helping.. and yet Cherish was so free walking around when I reached.. Isn't it? XD joking...)
Reach there at 8.30, an eventful ride before that. The soup for the 'tang yuen' split out to my car cushion. (Oh no.. ) We found a good spot which at that time was good as it blocks the sun from us. Just when we finish unloading all our foods and drinks container down, one of the guards came and told us picnic not allowed and I'm like 'shit! where now?' Lucky we didn't go off, as it turns out that another guard gave us the thumb-up during his next patrol. Maybe because we kept the place clean. (not sure though..)
And then on to foods and drinks.. (paling hangat - sandwiches and tang yuen...nice right? XD) then photographs, photographs and photographs--till around 11+ when it's super hot that most of us can't stand it, so we decided to leave.. Some pics--->
Happy birthday, yhong! and many thanks.....
Happy birthday to Wai Hong aka Ms Park aka Yhong aka Hong Hong...!! Really hope you enjoy all those videos and activities and present given by us. Well, not gonna elaborate much here. Will do so in a day or two. And wanna grab this opportunity to thank Heidy especially for her help in the video. Although the original plan didn't quite work out, but thanks a lot for your help...=D And thanks to all that help in the preparation - Ben, Sum, Cherish and Adeline especially.. + the rest for their part in the video.. I represent the few of us in saying many thanks to you guys.. ^___^
Tired...
21st of September, 2009 - Two hours plus of tennis, 3 hours plus of sleep, another approximately two hours of basketball game, I guess I really overwork my body. Not yet replenish my energy after the day spent at 1U, already on to so many activities. Ended up with cramps on both legs during the basketball game. Luckily there's some ice around to cool it. Finally, my limit.. Nevertheless, I enjoyed all of them very much. Enjoyed the time with my friends...Went to celebrate some of my friends' birthday at Paparich on Sunday, 20th of Sept, 2009. 4 person in total - Ai Woon, Cheng Seng, Lin Fang and Audrey Lew. Well, happy birthday -or rather belated birthday- to all of you September boy and gals (or rather Men and Ladies). And all the best to Ai Woon who's flying back to UK soon. (tomorrow is it?..) Met lots of friends there, some i have not seen for ages. Those present there-Khee Leong, Siu Hou, Soo Ching, Wei Soong, Wei Bing, Randy, Yeong Keong, See Toh, Thong Seng, the 4 VIP, Ben, Adeline and last but not least, me. Finally, here's some pics from the event--->

Think You're Worse Off? Think Again!
Think yourself unlucky? Think you're worse off? Complain a lot about your life? Look at these pictures of a cute little disabled child and think again...
Still think you're worse off? Guess not. Well, let's enjoy life as it is. Cherish every moment of your life...

A tiring but great Saturday..
Woke up at 12+ in the afternoon. (Usual time for a 'night owl' like me..) Had an appointment at 1U with some friends at 1pm. Rush rush rush. By the time I fetched Ben, reached 1U, got a parking space and met Cherish and Adeline in front of the DC shop, it was already 2+ pm. (okok.. I know we are late.. But it's because we are unable to get parking space lo.. [EXCUSES!] trying to cover up for our lateness...XD)
On to presents hunting. What a headache! Walk here, walk there. See this, see that. No to this, no to that. Shops after shops we go. Met Wei Chean in the process. And Ke Min too. ( + Randy sms Adeline that he saw us) Then halfway through all these, Cherish had to leave for his appointment. (I think it's dental.. is it?lol..) After that, had our lunch (more like Ben and me having our lunch with Adeline watching us with her saliva drooling..ooopss..forgot you will be reading this..sorry for telling the truth! XD) Then on we walked for our unfinished business there...
Then reached a shop that I should not have stepped in in the first place. Well, what happened there? I saw some nike shoes that I like so much!! And as you would have guessed, I ended up buying it. Nice shoe, nice to wear, nice to see, and so 'NICE' to pay... haha.. But I like that shoe very much. Since my casual shoes already had a hole in it, I decided to buy it. At first thought that there's a 10% discount. But turned out it'a new arrival. So no discount! (arghhhhh.. officially bankrupt.. bread and maggi from now.. XD) Here's a picture on it---->
So what do you think? Nice? Planning to use it for casual wear and my other pair for sports. Well, enough on the shoes. Back to the present hunting. Search, think, look here and there and finally by about 7pm, its DONE!! Finally... Leg was getting tired. Long time I didn't walk and shop for so long already. Adeline was complaining of back pain.(old already..xp) Ben on the other hand was still so active going into shops looking around.
Was actually supposed to have tennis game at 7pm. But it was raining heavily so ended up postponed to Sunday. Since we are free, the three of us decided to go for a movie - G-Force... Nice movie, cute hamsters and guinea pigs, funny at times. Overall an enjoyable one. Done with the movie the movie, everyone was hungry by then. So after getting some things done at the MPH ( met Thomas Yap.. been a long time since I saw him..), off for dinner of fish ball mee somewhere in Metro Prima. We were actually the last customers there. While eating, had a nice conversation with the both of them. The conversation makes me think just how wrong or misleaded the people in this world can go... Alas, we are not them to change what's on their mind. Hopefully they will stumble back to the right path...
Well, a tiring but nice day spent with my friends. Enjoyed it. Although it's also a costly day for me. More activity to come. Hope to enjoy the time with my friends well before they go back to their uni life.. ^___^

Damn Pissed Off....
Finish my class at 5 o'clock, I rushed to ktm hoping to get on an early train back home. I was thinking of the various things I have to do when I reach Kepong while waiting. And I wait and wait till I started to get annoyed. 1720-delay + no announcement. Never mind. It's Malaysia's KTM we are talking about. So then I wait again.. 1740-another delay! And no announcement of what's wrong. At 1750, I decided to go over to the other platform hoping to get on the limited stop shuttle train. Make a new friend at that time. Wei Seng's the name. (you there?.. =D)
And the same process took place. Wait and wait and wait. This time at least I have someone to talk to. Or else I'll be cursing the bloody crappy ktm openly. 3 hours is what it takes to reach Kepong KTM!! 3 damn bloody hours I wasted waiting for that train!! Fine! As expected of our 'efficient' train service. But then, I remembered something that I read recently which made me more pissed off with this whole thing-->
So Mr. Najib is going to waste the taxpayers' money for a bloody costly F1 programme is it? What happened to his slogan of “1Malaysia. People First. Performance Now”?? Why don't someone just tell Mr. Najib to take ktm to work for a year, maybe a month perhaps and maybe he'll think twice on his decision again. Why can't he realize that there is so much more within our country that needs his attention rather than an F1 team for 2010 Season?!
“Why waste billions and make inferior cars to waste on F1 when a RM20 cow head and caning a model can get Malaysia global news coverage? F1 is foreign but those incidents are truly Malaysian!”-Malaysian Insider
Have you received a text message containing the above statement? Well, If you haven't, then you have seen it now. So now the thing is Mr. Prime Minister is saying that by creating this F1 team, our country name will be known worldwide. That it will be ‘Made-in-Malaysia, by Malaysians’ and of course, the pit-stops will be run by Malaysians'. And Dr. Mahathir was saying “With the F1 race, Malaysia is shown to the world for hours. We don’t have to pay a single sen. If we were to calculate the advertisement in Japan alone, it may run into US$100 million or US$200 million. So imagine ... more than 300 television stations telecast the F1 race. People will know more about Malaysia if we have our own F1 team.” So we should be proud as a Malaysian that we have an F1 team when countries like Singapore and Indonesia don't have, is it? And now I ask you, you think if you are a foreigner, which one will be more attractive to you, the cow of the car?
Now, Mr. Prime Minister, some of you may be happily showing off to the whole world that Malaysia has its own F1 team-which may be a good thing. But do you know that the rest of us are worried with the way you handled the country, the way you waste the people's money at a time when economy are still considered bad, the way you and your buddies handled the PKFZ scandal, the cow issues and so much more...If only you could think in a wider scope with your small brain, then we would probably have better days to look forward to. Alas, but that's not the case...
It's sad to know that Malaysians have given their votes to a party which before this WAS a party that we can relied much on BUT currently a party so full of the mentality to win and win until most of the Rakyat needs are ignored. A party so full of corruption that public accountability is a 'NO-NO'. A party which is so narrow minded that oppositions' views are never taken into account. A party so desperate to cover up the truth that websites reporting on the real deal is investigated and made inaccessible.
When is the current Government going to keep in touch with the people's needs? The KTM for example. I remembered my lecturer told me recently that in order for a country to be a 'developed country', they must have an efficient transport system. Look at Korea, China, Singapore, Japan and so on. All their train services are ways better than ours. And yet our resources are being used in something that may not be so relevant to us now. Just how much more are you people gonna waste???!

Rand0m updateSs...
Holidays, holidays and holidays.. That's the word I've been hearing from most of my uni friends. D*mn. Why am I still having class later? Why? Why? Why? (Stop complaining, idiot! It's for your own good... XD)
Enough with the complaint. And back to the main topic I want to talk about. Movies... After the Indiana Jones movie that I watched, comes another two more that I've been wanting to watch before this, but couldn't get anyone to go along to the cinema - G.I.Joe and District 9...

It's simply perfect. Like those ninjas in the movie. Awesome sword skills... And yesterday was watching District 9. Hmmm.. Didn't turn out to be the type of movie that I like to watch. But still a nice movie. Guess what? Having neither read the movie synopsis nor watch the trailer, so basically I knew nothing about the show beforehand. And after watching for about half an hour, I was actually wondering whether I downloaded the wrong copy. (Maybe you'll know what I mean if you've watched it..) Was thinking maybe I downloaded the making of that movie. And I acually ended up sleeping halfway through the show and finishing it when I woke up few hours later..XD
Time to stop downloading movies. It's time to focus on my studies. Wouldn't want to keep wasting my time watching movies every week. (although I don't mind doing that.. XD) STUDY, Patrick!!
All right then, a bit of update on my office life. As one of my colleague is gonna resign for her studies, so we took some pics together on thursday.. Here it is...
As you can see from the pics, all females. And the males in my office are all my uncles. What a nice working environment. Can't rebel at all.(Ooops.. hope none of them are reading this...) And the colleague that's gonna resign-->2nd pic, the one sitting down. (Ermm.. No offence but if you ask me what's my first impression of her from that pic, my first thought will be either she's disabled or she has some problems with her legs..Oops.. You there? XD)
There you go.. I'm late for my class again.. As usual.. *sigh* Well, I'll be seeing you guys around then.. Happy holidays and Selamat Hari Raya, folks.. ^___^

G.I.Joe was simply awesome. Probably the best movie around after transformers. Even the fact that my downloaded copy is blurry at times and the audio quality is super lousy doesn't stop me from enjoying it. (Imagine me watching at the cinema. It'll be super awesome...)

Blood Donation...
Blood donation! My third one so far. It was held at 17th floor of the same building as my college. Actually planned to go at around 11-12 noon. But ended up reaching there around 1.30pm. And it was packed! Didn't know that it will attract so many people. Thanks to that, I was late for my class. Late by an hour and a half!! Damn! Should have went earlier. If only I woke up earlier. *sigh* But no choice la. I slept at 6am this morning leh. Need to sleep at least 5 hours for the donation, though I don't think I did. (EXCUSES!!! XD)
The whole thing was done in a small room. 9 beds (that's beds right?I don't really know what you call those bedlike chairs..) in total for the event. 9 BEDS!!! And I ended waiting for more than an hour before my turn came. (ok la.. maybe its not that bad after all) Was actually debating whether to continue queuing up or just leave for my class. But I guess I don't really mind skipping the first half of my class. Ooops.. XD While waiting, I read my lecture notes and listen to some songs from my phone. And then finally comes my turn. fuh~~... Finally!!
I guess you guys know the process. No need for me to explain. Some of the measurement taken : weight-60 kgs & blood pressure-132/72. What's the normal pressure ah? forgot already. Was thinking of asking the woman back then but she seems to be busy. And then they ask what time I slept yesterday. And guess what? I lied to her. Well, of course I lied. Wouldn't want to be kicked out from the room for not having enough sleep. I mean it's no big deal what time i sleep right? It's not like I'll faint or anything. And coupled with the fact that she looks like someone who's very strict, I decided to say 'pass' to the truth. (was wondering whether my blood pressure rise when I lied. Coz she was checking mine that time..XD)
Then on to those 'bed'. Nothing much there. But I was hoping that no one saw the small hole at the heel part of my shoe. Don't think anyone saw it though. Guess it's time to change soon. (poor me.. shoe also got hole already.. anyone kind enough get me one? XD) And my heart was pumping faster than a bullet train when the nurse was about to inject. Guess I hate that i-dunno-what-you-call-'em feeling those injection gave me. Then after finish donating 450 ml of my blood, my hand become sort of numb. The scar left from the needle was actually swollen. Couldn't even carry my bag with my left hand. (Great!! Another imperfection to an otherwise perfect body of mine. XD) The other 'imperfection'? It's my left leg. Still giving me a bit of a trouble. Not much though. Hopefully it'll heal soon.
After that, rush to my class. Hmmm. No big problem being late. Piece of cake to catch up..XD Luckily I read what he's gonna teach yesterday. If not it'll really be big trouble. And I was DAMN SLEEPY!!! ( really must thank that 'someone' for this! XD) Luckily it's just an hour and a half left...
Well, that pretty much sums up my day. After that it was the same old routine again.. I guess that's all for now.. Take care everyone =D

Born Lucky?!
I don't know how much posts I have read nowadays. It could be 30, 40.. or maybe 100 for all I know. (not so much la.. that would be crazy.. XD) All I know is that most of my free time had been spent on reading blogs. (or rather most of my supposed-to-be-studying time..) Why am I so engaged in blogs? Well, I'm not sure myself. Maybe it's because I wish to know about other people's experience. Their life in different part of the world sounds interesting. Listening to their stories, complaints, ramblings and blah blah blah on their life.
Lately I enjoy reading blogs of elders. Enjoy reading posts on their life, whether past or present, their family,.... Well, it'll be endless and pointless to list all. Reading their experiences in life just make me think how little 'taste' I have of this life yet. Well, being a gonna-be-21-soon kid, I guess I still have lots waiting for me.
On to the topic, I actually came across a few blogs of dads having children with down syndrom. I have not personally met any people in this kind of situation yet. So it's actually something new to me. Makes me eager to know how these people cope with it. And I found out that most are living a good life. (for those that I have read la)
And then on to the thinking (reflection) part, I realized just how lucky I was (and still am) to be born in good conditions just like any other kid. Okay, I'm not trying to say that born with diseases such as down syndrom is bad.. I mean which crazy person in this world would wish for a child or wish to be born with some sort of disabilities? (hmmm.. Maybe there are.. I guess there are always some weirdos around..)
Being born normal and able to live just like every other normal kid, I guess i really should thank God for that. Countless people around the globe might not be eating what I eat, might not be drinking what I'm drinking, might not afford to buy anything like me, might not have a home to stay in or even to do anything or enjoy life like me. Just imagine in those war-torn countries like Afghanistan and Iraq. Imagine some of those people over there, starving and not having enough to eat, struggling hard to survive. And imagine you being one of them.. Yes, i mean YOU! Imagine how long you can survive...
Living in such good environment, and yet most of us are complaining hard. (myself included.. haha) Some of us can even afford to waste. E.g. water, electricity, food, blah blah blah.. (you know better than me right? Since you waste so much...XD) And some of this 'waste' may be what those 'struggling' people wish for right at this moment. So each time you want to waste, try to think of those situations. Talking bout wasting, I myself don't like people wasting food. Hate to see people doing that actually. Maybe it was because I was taught not to do so since young.
I guess most of us are born lucky. Aren't you? So remember when you complain about life next time, remember that there might be countless people who wishes for the life you're having. Feel grateful for all that you have and appreciate it well.. ^___^

The 'Odd-oNe-ouT'?
It's been another lazy Sunday for me.. Woke up at 2pm in the afternoon (slept at 5am yesterday.. very normal for me already.. ^^) then straight to blogs, blogs and more blogs.. really having fun reading blogs.. (yes yes.. i know I should be studying.. but I need PLENTY of rest for my brain la...XD)
then around 5pm started watching Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade at home.. hmmm... the 1st 30 to 45 minutes was boring to me.. (the scenes are quite dark..) so bored that my head was actually nodding.. And just when I thought of clicking on the 'X' button, it starts getting really interesting and funny.. And from there on, was laughing most of the time.. Not a bad show to watch.. Had a real good laugh..=D
Well, on the the main topic.. While I was reading 'the bearded one's' blog, i came across this sentence : "I have an older brother and a younger sister, and I always felt like the odd one out." And then I ask myself aren't I an 'odd one out' too? So why do I feel so?
As most of you know, I'm kinda a quiet person (or rather very).. So you can guess how I am at home.. Seldom talk to my mum.. To my bro and sis still okay la.. But when it comes to family gathering, 99.99% you'll see me do anything BUT talking... to make it worse, I'm not very good in speaking cantonese or mandarin and that's the common language there.. (especially when the talk is on current issues.. oh my.. I really can't find the suitable chinese words for those terms..lol) so most of the time I prefer listening..
So that's where the feeling of being an 'odd one out' came from.. Unable to communicate well with them.. unable to share my views.. sometimes feels like a big fool sitting there quietly when the rest are talking around... but of course if my cousins are around then it's a different story la.. At home also the same.. particularly with my mum.. we don't really talk much unless it's neccessary.. well, how do you expect me to tell her much in a language that i'm totally a 'banana'?!
Of course that feeling also surfaced when I'm mixing with people that I'm not familiar with.. being a quiet person, it's hard for me to start talking, especially when the topics are not right and so do the language... So, have you people ever felt that? yes? no? don't know? Well, you know yourself best...
A new week on the rise.. Monday's coming fast... Weekends coming to an end.. how i wish for a longer weekend... XD Well, hope you guys have a good week.. ^____^
